Before you begin

Since this feature is integrated into the Shopify Checkout process, the Vitals app should be designated first as the store’s official app for the Post-Purchase page.

This can be enabled by going to your Shopify admin > Settings > Checkout, and then scroll down to the Post-Purchase page section:

Once you select the Vitals app here and save your changes, it should be good, and you can start creating your Post Purchase offers in the Vitals app.

Where to find this upsell offer

Simply search for the Upsell Builder app and click Create Offer. The One Click Post-Purchase will be one of the upsell offers that you can create - specifically under the Upsells with Post-Purchase category:

Simply click the Create button of this upsell offer type to get started.

One Click Post-Purchase Upsell Settings

Creating the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell offer consists of 4 easy steps:

  1. Trigger - This first critical setting determines the conditions on when this offer would appear.

You can choose in any one of the four options:

    • Any order - the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell offer will always appear on any order completed on your store.
    • Order Quantity - Lets you specify to only show the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell Offer according to the number of items in the order compared to a specific value:

    • Specific Products or Collections - Lets you specify to only show the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell offer if the order contains the specific products or collections specified here.

    • Order value - Lets you specify to only show the One Click Post-Purchase upsell offer if the order value is equivalent to what you specify here, according to your store's default currency.

Once you select your preferred trigger, you can continue to Step 02 - Offer.

  1. Offer - Lets you specify the products that will be offered in the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell offer when the defined Trigger is met.

In this step, you can modify two settings - the type of product that you want to be offered in the One Click Post-Purchase upsell offer, and the discount amount you would like this offered item to have, either in percent off or a fixed amount.

💡 Note that you can also provide a 0-value discount - This is useful if you want to upsell a product as an add-on without any discount.

Once you are done choosing your preferred product to offer and the corresponding discount, you can proceed to Step 03 - Appearance to change how the offer looks.

  1. Appearance - Allows you to modify selected elements in the offer.

Specific elements such as the Offer title, the appearance of the Decline button, and the ability to enable/disable the display of quantity selector and product description in the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell Offer can be changed here.

Once you're happy with the appearance, you can proceed to the last step to review your changes Step 04 - Review.

  1. Review - Besides seeing a summary of the changes you made from Step 01, this is also the section where you can activate this offer on your live store and name the offer internally for easier identification.

Once you're happy with the changes, click on Save, and your customers will start seeing this One Click Post-Purchase upsell offer if their order satisfies its trigger!

💡 The product offered by the One Click Post-Purchase upsell will be part of the recently completed order. If the customer accepts the product offered in the One Click Post-Purchase offer, the completed order will now have the accepted product and the corresponding discount.

Where is the One Click Post-Purchase Upsell Offer going to appear?

The One Click Post-Purchase upsell offer would automatically appear after the customer completes the order, specifically after the "Pay Now" button is pressed:

I enabled my store to sell in multiple currencies. Will this feature work with this?

Unfortunately, due to Shopify limitations, the One Click Post-Purchase app is not compatible on stores with multiple currencies.
