BETA

All Vitals apps marked with the "BETA" tag are apps recently launched that are updated and monitored ongoing until being fully released. Beta, named after the second letter of the Greek alphabet, is the second software development phase that generally begins when the software is feature complete but likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs. Software in the beta phase will generally have many more bugs than completed software, speed, or performance issues and may still cause crashes or data loss.

Development Stores

Development stores are free Shopify accounts created by Shopify Partners (companies that build stores for clients, or develop apps or themes, or refer merchants to Shopify) that come with several limitations, including:

  • install paid apps (except for a selection of partner-friendly apps),
  • remove the password page and
  • process orders through an active payment provider, for example, by completing a purchase through the online store (you can, however, process an unlimited number of test orders - we recommend using Shopify's Bogus Gateway)

Vitals cannot be installed on Shopify development stores.

MyShopify URL

The .myshopify.com URL looks like your-store-name.myshopify.com. It is used to log into your store and identify your account when you contact support.

For example, you can purchase MVMT watches from mvmtwatches.com. However, their Shopify domain is mvmt-watches, as they log in to their Shopify account via https://mvmt-watches.myshopify.com/admin.

Product ID

You can find the ID in your Shopify admin by going to the  Products section and then click on the specific product. You can get the ID from the URL of the page. For example, 611153575971 is the ID of this product: https://shopvitals.myshopify.com/admin/products/611153575971.

Exit Intent

Some of our apps, such as the Spin the Wheel, or Popups, can be displayed when we detect visitors' intention to leave the page. On desktop, this occurs when the mouse cursor is moved quickly towards the upper part of the window, outside the page viewport. On mobile, this happens if the visitor scrolls up, which leads to the toolbar showing up.

Assisted Sales

Assisted Sales are orders that have been done with a VITALS discount or after a customer subscribes to a shop via Pop-ups, Announcement Bar, or Spin the Wheel apps. The Assisted Sales shown on the VITALS Dashboard graph are the aggregate data of the past 30 days going back from today.
